Having had an interest in art since she could hold a crayon, Mahsuri Sharkawi had always loved to draw and paint as all kids do. She did however take Art in school with A1 in SPM doing still life and nature in pencil.
However… work, life, marriage, kids, happened…and after almost 25 years in the telco industry, Covid and 3 MCOs in ~ she tried pouring paints after watching a bunch of YouTube videos.
After the first few paintings, Mahsuri started selling her paintings and has contributed profits to non profit organization ORKIDS since.
